Community Involvement

The street part on Friday, September 18, 2009 on Glen Oak Drive was a fantastic event!

Our on-going assault on graffiti has been an out-standing success. Over the past year, due to the efforts of some dedicated community volunteers, and most especially because of the lead of Jason Balgopal, we have seen a steady decline in the amount of graffiti on the public areas of the community, as shown by this graph.

The posts below show the efforts done to remove the graffiti. You see the before and after pictures, see the amount of time it took to clean up the space, and see how much graffiti (in square inches) was removed on each "attack".

In 2008 we compiled our results monthly, but from 2009 onwards we are going to show each outing separately. So merely click on the date you wish to see, and the results will open in a new window.

Those results in brackets indicates that the work was done by our crew but OUTSIDE the bounds normally serviced by our group....and thus is NOT counted in the graphical data.
